DESCRIPTION
The Model 6018 contains eight channels of low-noise, highly stable constant current excitation,
programmable gain instrumentation amplifier, filter and sample & hold. The sample and hold outputs
are multiplexed to a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter that connects to the 6000 data bus.
The 6018 is used primarly for resistive temperature devices (RTD) and voltage inputs. The input
supports two-wire voltage and RTD and four-wire RTD. It can also be used for three-wire RTD and
current excited bridge applications. A 100 Ohm precision resistor is provided that may be substituted
for the transducer to produce a calibrated output. Voltage substitution calibration is also provided.
| Unless noted, specifications apply to each channel individually |
| RTD |
