DESCRIPTION

The 6005 is a DC operated Mainframe with an IEEE-488 interface, digital data selector and 9 input/output module slots holding up to 72 channels. With the optional expansion panel it supports up to 31 slave enclosures holding over 2,000 channels. To assure continuous data recording and display at rates up to 1 Million samples per second, a large FIFO provides buffering during periods when the computer is unavailable to receive data. The mainframe includes a ring buffer event memory that is independent of the primary data output and stores up to 2 Million samples of pre and post-trigger data. This storage is triggered by an alarm or TTL input.

This mainframe supports all Series 6000 signal conditioning, digitizers and I/O modules. All connections are made on the front allowing it to be located in the tightest of spaces. It has integral fans that supply cooling air to the modules and power supplies.
