  Model 5821 Transducer Channel Module
Model 6036 4-Channel Charge Amplifier Digitizer

Model 5810 Transducer Transient Recorders

The 5810 is an AC powered, rack-mounting, 16-channel system enclosure for 5800 series recording modules. With a considerably lower price than ruggedized enclosures it makes 5800 system a competitive model for laboratory transient recorder applications. 10.5 inches high, it holds 16 channels in two 8-channel groups (each group with its own Ethernet address). Each group has independently programmable sample rates and control inputs. It is also offered with Analog Output Connectors (Model 5810-AO).

Model 5821 Transducer Channel Module

Model 5821, is a new, economical channel module for 5800 transient recorder used to acquire and record high-frequency transducer signals. It conditions, amplifies, filters, digitizes and stores data from strain gage, bridge, thermocouple, potentiometer and piezoelectric or other similar voltage output transducers. It is not hardened for high G applications like the 584x models and has fewer features. Voltage calibration and analog outputs are optional.

Model 6036 4-Channel Charge Amplifier Digitizer

Model 6036 is a new 4-channel, charge amplifier/digitizer for the 6000 Series data acquisition system. It features a second input for piezoelectric sensors with integrated electronics (IEPE). The high-performance charge amplifier can be used to measure dynamic acceleration, pressure, force and strain from piezoelectric transducers. Two charge-to-voltage input ranges optimize performance according to transducer sensitivity. Two modes of charge amplifier calibration are provided: voltage insertion mode, where dynamic signals are injected through a precision resistor, input cables and transducer (verifying the voltage gain and integrity of the input circuit) and charge calibration mode, where dynamic signals are injected through a precision capacitor into the charge input, simulating the output of a charge transducer. It is interchangeable with other Series 6000 I/O modules and supported by PI660 software.

The same performance and features are available in an analog output version, the Model 6136. It installs in the 6100 Series of enclosures and is interchangeable with other 6100 signal conditioning modules and supported by PI610. Both the 6036 and 6136 will be shipping this Spring.
